A TWO-PART INVITATION
An answer that the worldwide Renewal offers in response to the desire expressed by both Popes John Paul II and Benedict XVI to spread the "culture of Pentecost".
PART ONE: Pray the Pentecost Novena of your choice (see The Burning Bush Pentecost Novena in Adobe PDF) from Ascension Thursday, May 1, until the Vigil of Pentecost, Sat. May 10.
PART TWO: Sat. May 10 at 7:00 PM, we invite you to "Second Saturday" Praise and Worship Adoration at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Chapel, St. Anne Church, 706 S. Highland, where we will participate in a worldwide celebration, as all nations of the earth testify under the guidance of the Holy Spirit to the culture of Pentecost, and intercede for the special intentions of: The Church and Pope Benedict XVI, the World, The Charismatic Renewal, The National Service Committee of the Renewal and the International Catholic Charismatic Renewal Services.
We also invite you to a FAMILY PENTECOST CELEBRATION: Sun. May 11, the One Bread, One Spirit Charismatic Prayer Group invites everyone to a Pentecost Celebration at 7:30 PM. Please join us in the Pastoral Center of St. Louis Church, 203 S. White Station Road.
SPECIAL NOTE: Just as Mary, our "spiritual" mother, was present at that first Pentecost, we ask her intercession, through her intimate connection to the Holy Spirit, on this very special Vigil of Pentecost, we celebrate on the vigil of Mother's Day.
