by voice vote.

Mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help on Friday, September
28th, 7:00 PM with Fr. Jolly as Celebrant.·
- Jan had not confirmed
about Lectors and Eucharistic Ministers, but did
confirm the readings and music for Praise and Worship
and for the Mass.· Jan's report said
Fr. Herbert Ene would not be available for Confessions.·
- Jan's report said
she had updated the email distribution list with
those attending the "Alive in the Spirit",
and that she had submitted an article to the West
Tennessee Catholic newspaper, which was published
in the September 13th issue.
Activities:
Mike's Report covered
the following points:·
- Mike said he has
turned over the making of arrangements for the 9/28/2007
Charismatic Mass at OLPH to Jean Carr.·
- Mike said tentative
dates of November 9th and 10th for "Born of
the Spirit" were selected by the committee,
and St. Francis was tentatively selected as place.
Mike asked that the presenters study the material
so their presentation can be as smooth and interesting
as possible, and that we have a different presenter
for each topic. He also stated the table leaders
would need to be familiar with the material. Doug
volunteered to make flyers for the "Born of
the Spirit" seminar, once the information was
finalized.
Old Business--
- We discussed
assisting Jan with mailings to those without email.
Suzanne stated she would help and that she
would contact Jan.
- We discussed a donation
to St. Ann's for the use of facilities for the "Alive
in the Spirit" seminar in August, and Werner
suggested $50.00 as an amount. Motion to provide
$50.00 donation to St. Ann's was made by Joe and
seconded by Mike. Motion passed by voice vote.
- Carlene said she
had mailed letters to all Prayer Group Leaders.
Mike said we should provide flyers for all
upcoming events to Prayer Group Leaders for distribution
to Prayer Group Members.
- Suzanne reported
on an anointed "Alive in the Spirit" seminar
stating we had participation from 19 people for
Friday night and 15 people on Saturday. Carlene
mentioned we followed this up with a session at
Werner's house to hear a CD of one of the talks
by Fr. Benedict Groeschel from the National Conference
at the Meadowlands, NJ.
- Mike reported on
the transfer of the Website. Joe and Mike
said they would move the site this Sunday. Suzanne
volunteered her credit card number to effect the
purchase, and all agreed to reimburse Suzanne.
New Business--
- Laurie stated she
is being led to present a "Life in the Spirit"
for youth. After discussion, she and Mike
said they could work up a possible presentation
in January 2008.
- Werner told us of
a Novena of Masses the Filipino Community had at
St. Ann's Chapel last Advent, and would probably
have again this Advent. Probable dates would
be 12/17 through 12/23.
- Mike asked about
planning a retreat for this year. Carlene
suggested Knick and Sandy Knickerbocker as possible
Retreat Masters. After discussion, it was
decided we would approach the Knickerbockers for
either 2nd or 3rd weekend in January 2008.
- We discussed planning
another Charismatic Mass for this Autumn, and decided
on Friday, October 26th, place pending, however
the Pastoral Center at St. Louis Church was mentioned.
Mike said his committee would work out the
details.
- Werner mentioned
a letter he received for Joe from Christian Copyright
License, Inc (CCLI) stating that CCLI License for
the CCRM had expired. Due to the cost being
approximately $100.00/year for a congregation of
99 or less, and that the license was used for more
than just the CCRM, Mike moved the DSC reimburse
Joe and Laurie for half the cost, and Suzanne seconded.
Motion passed by voice vote.
9:16PM - Motion
to adjourn made by Joe was seconded by Mike, and passed
by voice vote.
Respectfully
submitted,
Joe
Solaas, Secretary
