Terms--

1.      "DSC" will refer to the "Diocesan Service Committee".

2.      "CCRM" will refer to the "Catholic Charismatic Renewal of Memphis".

3.      First names of Officers will be used.

Present:  Werner Rose, Carlene Inzer, Velera Faison, Jan Courtney, Joe

          Solaas, Suzanne Johnson, Mike Lenahan, Helen Lenahan, Jean Carr,

          and Mike Yarbrough

2:10 PM - The meeting was opened with Praise and Prayer.

Committee Reports--

Secretary:

Joe read the minutes from the 1/19/2007 DSC Meeting.  Werner moved

minutes be approved as submitted, and Joe Seconded.  Motion passed by

voice vote.

Treasurer:

Velera reported no change to bank balance, due no activity.

Communications:

Jan presented the flyer for the upcoming 2/16/2007 Mass and a partial flyer

for the June retreat.  Jan announced the 2/24/2007 Charismatic Mass at St.

Mary's in Jackson, TN.

Activities:

Mike Yarbrough reported his committee met on the pricing for the June

retreat, but is waiting for additional guidance.  All agreed to table the

"Born in the Spirit" program temporarily as the Diocese is starting a

new program called "Fishers of Men".

Website:

Joe presented a list of updates to the website, and preparations for moving

the site to the "GoDaddy" web hosting service.  Joe also reported the

CDOM.ORG site now has the correct link to the Catholicstuff.org website.

Old Business--

1.     2/16/2007 Mass.  We finalized preparations for the Mass, including

        prayer teams after Mass, music, "Welcome" message, CCRM banner,

        and a literature table at the rear of the chapel for flyers and handouts.

        Motion was made by Suzanne to provide a $25.00 stipend to each of

        the four Priests concelebrating the Mass.  Jan Seconded the motion,

        and it passed by voice vote.

2.     Next DSC meeting.  All agreed to meet at Jan Courtney's home in

        Cordova.

3.     2nd Saturday.  Suzanne reported a small group in attendance on

        February 9th.  Jan said she would create a flyer for 2nd Saturday

        Praise & Worship for distribution at the Mass on 2/16/2007.

4.     Goals and Objectives.  Carlene presented a document containing the

        proposed changes to the Goals and Objectives as discussed at the

        11/11/2006 meeting.  Discussion followed about timelines for each

        of the objectives.  Suzanne made a motion to accept the proposed

        changes to the Goals and Objectives, and Velera seconded the motion.  

        Motion carried by voice vote.  We discussed changes to Goal 1,

        objectives 1 and 2 in in regard to the "Born in the Spirit".  No

        motion or decision was made.

New Business--

1.      Carlene presented information.  

        o       Charismatic Mass at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Jackson,

                TN. On 2/24/2007.

        o       Carlene sent Fr. Anthony in Jackson a birthday card thanking

                him for his help with the Charismatic community there.

        o       Southern Regional Conference in New Orleans 3/23/2007 through

                3/25/2007.

        o       Regional Leaders Gathering at Holiday Inn Crossing in Nashville

                3/23/2007 through 3/25/2007.

2.     June 8-10 Retreat.  Carlene reported that sub-committee met to

        discuss prices for the retreat.  The committee is still awaiting input from

        Sr. Eileen Fucito on prices.  Jan mentioned that we haven't received

        final approval from the Bishop for the retreat.  Werner said he would

        call Sr. Eileen to arrange a meeting to finalize things.

3.     Pentecost Sunday.  Carlene tabled this item, but asked DSC

        members to bring ideas for Pentecost celebration to next DSC

        meeting.

4:38 PM -  Motion to adjourn by Joe, seconded by Mike Yarbrough.  Motion

        passed by voice vote.
