Mike gave his Activities Report.  He commented on how well the Dorothea seminar went.  Mattie, Dorothea's companion commented on the hospitality of Memphis.  The only negative comment would be that Dorothea's books never arrived.

Helen mentioned that Dorothea sensed a lack of Catechesis in the group at the seminar.

It was discussed that we need a Life in the Spirit Seminar.

New Business was discussed.  Suzanne will talk to Susan Garts to make sure it is ok to have a Pentecost celebration at St. Ann's in Bartlett.  We will have Praise and Worship and Adoration from 4-5:30pm followed by a potluck dinner.  Deacon Frank Larker will preside at Pentecost celebration because Deacon Werner Rose will be out of town.  Helen will ask Kevin Stockbridge about doing the music. -Go out to spread word on seminar

Joe mentioned that we did not have to have a clergy speaker.  We could have a lay person speak.  Part of it would be a testimony.  It was discussed that we could put together the talk ourselves and get our friends in the renewal to critique our talk.  It was mentioned having the seminar in Sept, Nov, Advent or Lent.

Helen, Linda, Joe, Suzanne, Mike Yarbrough and possibly Laurie on committee for Life in the Spirit Seminar.  Carlene mentioned Father Matthew Joseph expressing interest in having a weekend retreat at St. John's on Lamar.  Helen will call Father Matthew Joseph after school is out.
